Pati Patni Aur Woh is a progressive joyride. At the box office, the film has all it takes to prove a success story on account of an impressive star cast, popular music and dollops of comedy.
Director Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh is a recipe for a paisa vasool entertainer. The film is a humorous farce on the subject of sex. It's not the most original or charming comedy, but it does most things well and provides value for money in those two hours. In the spirit, Pati Patni Aur Woh is akin to David Dhawan movies. Mudassar Aziz attempts a comic caper that drives you nuts. His mantra is very clear: Garnish the enterprise with witty one-liners, hip-swinging music and throw logic to the winds. Comedy is a difficult emotion to capture on celluloid and to pull it off and make the moviegoer laugh non-stop for 2+ hours is even more difficult. And Pati Patni Aur Woh works mainly because the gags and punches in the enterprise are truly funny and relatable.
The film has several things going in its favour but the camaraderie the three actors share is, undoubtedly, one of the USPs of the enterprise. In a nutshell, it is a chill pill every entertainment-hungry moviegoer would like to relish. The sole idea is to entertain and the film delivers what it promises. When you saunter into the cinema hall, just don't wear your thinking caps and you'd enjoy the film from start to end.
Jasmeet K Reen's adaptation of the original script is not a copy-paste job. A lot of modifications are done keeping in mind the contemporary taste of the viewers. Although the film has its share of funny and entertaining moments, the pace is erratic. There's no denying the fact that Pati Patni Aur Woh could've been better. It suffers from a slow build-up, the pace dips at places and emotions might be a huge turn-off as they ambush the comical sequences. Also, John Stewart Eduri's background score is plain ordinary. Chirantan Das' cinematography is limited to the touristy locales of Kanpur and Lucknow. He could've captured so much more. The songs are better stand-alone, but they lose their charm in the film. Also, the placement of the songs seems forced.
Director Mudassar Aziz isn't in complete form. If only he would've picked up a riveting story to make a stronger impression. Also, the twist in the climax is badly executed. But the key asset of Pati Patni Aur Woh is Mudassar Aziz's witty dialogues. Also, the film is visually exciting. The usage of bright colours makes it look glamorous.
If the film belongs to anyone, it's Kartik Aaryan and Aparshakti Khurana. They are absolutely remarkable, proving that their timing for comic sequences is just perfect. Kartik Aaryan endears to the viewers completely. He's sure to walk away with all the glory with this performance. Aparshakti Khurana is just brilliant, bringing the house down with his performance. Bhumi Pednekar excels in a role that seems tailormade. WOW!
Ananya Panday looks the part she has been asked to portray and she looks convincing. She is sure to be noticed. Manu Rishi Chaddha and Neeraj Sood are superb as always. Sunny Singh looks dashing in a special appearance. Kriti Sanon adds to the oomph with her cameo.
All said and done, Pati Patni Aur Woh focuses on wit and humour rather than logic. With crisp editing (Ninad Khanolkar) the film is sure to regale viewers and also strike gold at the box-office. You may call it cliched or formulaic, but it works big time. Go have fun.

NASCAR driver Corey LaJoie, who hit Ryan Newman's car during the final lap of the Daytona 500 on Monday and sent him spinning into a fiery wreck, has recalled the horrifying impact and said he did not know who he'd hit because he was going so fast.  Newman remains in the hospital in a serious condition. According to a NASCAR statement released on Monday night, he is expected to make a full recovery.  He was leading the famous race in his No. 6 Ford Mustang when he first hit the wall at 195 miles per hour.  It sent his car spinning backwards and LaJoie, who was driving behind him, then crashed into the driver's side of Newman's vehicle.  Newman's Mustang flipped multiple times and began spitting out flames. I have a special interest in the subject — my grandfather fought in World War I, and I’ve done years of research on the events while writing a play about the war. I can’t argue with Mr. Mendes’s artistry. Visually and technically speaking, “1917, ” which is nominated for 10 Academy Awards, is dazzling. The filmmaking team cleverly manages to make the entire movie seem like one long, continuous take, and I, like many viewers, found myself wondering how certain scenes were shot. The director’s own grandfather inspired him with stories about volunteering to run messages across open, war-ravaged terrain. In an interview, Mr. Mendes said that “1917” called for “ a different kind of storytelling. ” He described the “Great War” as “a chaos of mismanagement and human tragedy on a vast scale. ” If only he had told that story. Instead, “1917” left me uneasy. Mr. Mendes paints an uplifting and dangerously misleading picture of the war. The fictionalized premise is this: General Erinmore (Colin Firth) sends two British soldiers on an urgent mission. They have until dawn to deliver a vital message: The Second Battalion is about to walk into a trap, and the attack must be called off. The general warns one of the soldiers, Lance Corporal Blake (Dean-Charles Chapman), “If you don’t get there in time, we will lose 1, 600 men — your brother among them. ” Right away, “1917” suggests a concern for the sanctity of human life from the top down. The reality was something else: an appalling indifference as the British high command sent hundreds of thousands of their young men to die. Germany had a clear advantage in terms of training and weaponry, including the machine gun. The British infantry, still trained with rifles and bayonets, didn’t stand a chance. But that didn’t stop the English high command from planning deadly offensives — deadly, that is, for its own men. In my research, I read chilling accounts of these attacks. In ecstatic terms, Gen. Thomas Wynford Rees of Britain described the “marvelous advance” of his infantry brigade, “ dressed as if on parade, ” at the Battle of the Somme. Incredulous Germans watched the men walk — yes, walk — in long rows across open terrain — then proceeded to mow them down. To General Rees, the massacre was a “magnificent display of gallantry. ” On July 1, 1916, the first day of the Somme, there were nearly 60, 000 British casualties (a third of them died). Five months later, the number rose to nearly 500, 000, and a British general, Douglas Haig, finally ended the attack, but not before claiming that results “fully justify” the effort. He expressed no remorse for the loss of life. In his book “The Myth of the Great War, ” John Mosier describes this “slaughter of the infantry” as “almost exclusively a British achievement. ” Years later, Prime Minister David Lloyd George wrote that while General Haig “ ordered many bloody battles in this war, ” he took part in only two. George also noted an “inexhaustible vanity that will never admit a mistake. ” It’s no wonder that General Haig was called “ the butcher. ” In the film, just before being assigned his mission, Lance Corporal Blake says, “Must be something big if the general’s here. ” With that line, the film acknowledges just how improbable his appearance would have been. Top commanders often remained far from the front, out of touch with the knee-deep mud and rat-filled trenches that the infantry endured. Many officers, in fact, lived in beautiful chateaus. But most jarring for me was hearing the general tell Blake, “If you fail, it will be a massacre. ” By 1917, the loss of 1, 600 men in an attack would have been a good day. Mendes doesn’t ignore the horror altogether; the camera pans bodies and limbs strewn about battlefields. But photos of the maimed in World War I reveal truly grotesque wounds that are sanitized in “1917. ” We see soldiers with bandaged eyes, but not the dreadful blisters from mustard gas as it was absorbed by woolen uniforms. And what about shell shock? By that point in the war, the British high command was stymied by “womanish” recruits who showed signs of breakdown (hysteria, horrible tics, dreadful nightmares) despite having no physical wounds. The commanders’ answer was to shame the men and order them back to the front. I don’t expect Mr. Mendes to include every fact about the war. Almost by definition, historical drama is selective; we invent characters, we compress events. But we do this in the interest of creating emotional truth. Mendes does the opposite. By disguising the brutal truths of the war, he sentimentalizes and even valorizes it — a war in which disregard for human life led to approximately 8. 5 million military deaths around the world, and an estimated 21 million wounded. If it’s chilling to read of British soldiers being sent to their deaths early in the war, equally horrifying are accounts of “ needless slaughter ” in the American Expeditionary Forces. The United States entered the war late, at the same time as events in “1917. ” (Woodrow Wilson was only re-elected president after promising to keep Americans out of the conflict. ) By the fall of 1918, the Germans were calling for an end to fighting. They knew the arrival of two million American soldiers, however inexperienced, meant the Allies would prevail. At dawn on Nov. 11, 1918, an Armistice ending the war was signed: no victors, no losers. But Gen. John Pershing hated the idea of letting Germany off without an unconditional surrender. And so, even though the war was effectively over (the Armistice went into effect hours later, at 11 a. ), he had American commanders continue to send men to fight. Joseph Persico gives a gripping account of the final day of World War I in his book, “Eleventh Month, Eleventh Day, Eleventh Hour. ” “The carnage that went on up to the final minute so perfectly captures the essential futility of the entire war, ” he writes. Persico estimates that another 3, 000 men on all sides died in fighting after the Armistice was signed, with thousands more wounded. In writing my play about events in the United States just after World War I, I found so many disturbing parallels: partisan politics that rival today’s (Republicans held hearings to smear President Wilson and to win back the White House at any cost); a deep vein of racism (back at home, black soldiers who wore their uniforms might be lynched); and a fierce nationalism heard in Henry Cabot Lodge’s toxic cries of “America first! ” “ The winds that were blowing then are blowing now, ” Mr. Mendes has rightly said of the political inspiration for his film. Yet with so much at stake, his stated goal was nevertheless to make a “ movie that operates more like a ticking-clock thriller at times. ” This is a legitimate artistic choice, and he succeeded. But the problem with thrilling an audience with one physical stunt after another is that it can become numbed to the emotional horror. The illusion that the entire film was done in a single-camera shot becomes a distraction. We focus on the storytelling rather than the story itself. With its relentless stunts, “1917” begins to feel like a video game. Any director faces a challenge in making a movie about war, of how to create sympathy for those who act with courage and yet avoid feeding our appetite for antiquated notions of heroism. Peter Weir does this admirably in the magnificent and deeply moving “Gallipoli, ” about Australian fighters in World War I. Like “1917, ” Mr. Weir’s movie features an unlikely pair of soldiers and builds to a futile attack that must be called off. But Mr. Weir takes his time to develop the characters. We become fully invested in their humanity. Writing to his family, Archy Hamilton (Mark Lee) echoes so many young men desperate to fight: “There’s a feeling that we’re all somehow involved in an adventure larger than life. ” When Mel Gibson’s character arrives seconds too late with the message to call off the slaughter, we watch in stunned disbelief. In “Gallipoli, ” war is anything but a game. In the words of a devastated field commander, “it’s coldblooded murder. ” The great paradox of “1917” is that Mr. Mendes uses modern technology to produce a throwback: a redemptive war story. One of the final images is a group of soldiers singing in a grassy wood before going into battle. “1917” provides escape from the true carnage of the “Great War. ” Instead, it might have forced us to question the endless, inconclusive conflicts that have followed, and the butchery and sacrifice they inflict. We don’t need to feel better about World War I’s slaughter. We need to feel worse. In a poignant image straight out of Shakespeare, Mr. Mendes’s grandfather is said to have washed his hands compulsively for the rest of his life because “ he could never get clean ” of the war. If we’re going to avoid the stain of endless, senseless wars in the future, we have to tell stories that focus on the horror, rather than false heroics and filmmaking feats of wonder. The CEO and founder of Amazon—who currently has an estimated net worth of $129. 9 billion—is pledging nearly 8% of that net worth to tackle climate change through a series of grants he will issue this summer to fund undisclosed scientists, activists and NGOs. In a brief, informal statement on Instagram (tacked on with a generic image of Earth), Bezos wrote, “Climate change is the biggest threat to our planet. I want to work alongside others both to amplify known ways and to explore new ways of fighting the devastating impact of climate change on this planet we all share. ” The CEO’s preoccupation with Earth—versus the level of self-interest he has in Amazon’s profitability—has been a hot topic among environmental activists and even his own employees, 4, 500 of whom published a piece last April calling on Bezos to address climate change at the company. In the open letter, employees called for a stop to the AWS for Oil & Gas initiative, which boosts the fossil fuel industry by providing advanced computing technologies so it can extract more oil more efficiently. They also called for a halt of donations to the 68 climate-denying and anti-climate members of Congress, among other requests. According to The Washington Post—which is owned by Bezos—many of those employees were apparently defying the company’s communications policy, and risked being fired for speaking up. More recently, Bezos was under fire from critics for being “stingy” when he only donated $690, 000 to Australian wildfire relief in January. Tamara Toles O’Laughlin, North American director of, a nonprofit dedicated to sustainability efforts (primarily obliterating the fossil fuel industry for more eco-friendly and clean renewable energy solutions), told Adweek that was surprised by the Bezos Earth Fund announcement due to the Amazon executive’s neglect of his corporation’s damage to the environment. In 2018, Amazon disclosed that its total carbon footprint was 44. 4 million metric tons, making the ecommerce mammoth one of the worst polluters in the United States. The company is often criticized by consumers for its tendency to over-package and produce more waste. “ stands in solidarity with the hundreds of workers who have been holding Amazon accountable, and modeling a just transition led by workers. We expect The Bezos Earth Fund to celebrate the efforts of these workers, and empower them to continue pushing for higher climate standards within the company, ” said O’Laughlin. Prior to the United Nation’s Climate Action Summit in New York in September, Amazon issued a climate pledge to reach 100% zero emissions by 2030 and become carbon neutral by 2040 through renewable energy efforts. Amazon also ordered 100, 000 electric vans from Rivian, with plans to have those vans out on the road as early as 2022. “We respect this investment as a first step in the right direction, insofar as it promises resources towards people-oriented, restorative solutions, rather than false ones that inflate Amazon’s bottom line, ” O’Laughlin said. Elizabeth Jardim, senior corporate campaigner at Greenpeace USA, said that while The Bezos Earth Fund is “a welcome recognition of the serious threat of climate change, ” the international environmental nonprofit has “major concerns” based on Amazon’s environmental track record. “$10 billion dollars is indeed a large amount but its not either or—Amazon needs to eliminate its own carbon footprint while investing rapidly in renewable energy solutions, ” Jardim said. December 8, 2019 Format: Prime Video “Dark Waters” Distributed by Focus Features, 126 Minutes, Rated PG-13, Released November 22, 2019: There’s a scene in the 1976 political drama “All the President’s Men” in which Dustin Hoffman and Robert Redford as Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward need to request from a Library of Congress staff member every checkout slip processed in the past three years in one of the largest libraries in the world. “I’m not sure you want ‘em, ” the sympathetic librarian tells them, “but I got ‘em. ” And in the next shot, the camera slowly pans upward to see the two reporters beginning to sift through tables and tables filled with hundreds of thousands of library checkout slips, in an attempt to find a single clue which will help them to solve the mystery behind the Watergate break-in. There’s a similar scene in “Dark Waters, ” the new fact-based legal thriller from Focus Features now playing in movie theaters across the United States. In the scene, the intrepid attorney played by actor Mark Ruffalo requests from the gigantic DuPort chemical conglomerate records of research material related to the manufacture of one specific compound. In reluctant compliance with the request--as well as an effort to discourage any future investigation by the government--DuPort sends the attorney dozens and dozens of packing crates filled with records. And with a sigh, Ruffalo as the attorney hunkers down in his law firm’s conference room to begin the Sisyphean task of examining the hundreds of thousands of documents, one by one. Both scenes are important to their pictures’ narratives, enormously revealing background touches in unusually engrossing movies. The purpose of the segments is plain--that any result, is desirable enough, is worth working for. If “Dark Waters” and 2000’s “Erin Brockovich” were playing as a double feature at a drive-in theater, you might feel compelled to leave halfway through the second matter which picture played first. But sometimes surface resemblances can be misleading--while the two pictures have similarities and both are informative and richly entertaining movies, a major difference is that the older picture’s conclusion is more because the events of “Dark Waters” are still playing out. Adapted by screenwriters Mario Correa and Matthew Michael Carnahan from writer Nathaniel Rich’s New York Times Magazine article “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare, ” in “Dark Waters” a successful and upwardly mobile attorney for a prosperous corporate legal firm places his carefully-plotted career on hold to help a rural farmer pursue a complaint of a local refinery’s waste water is poisoning his discovers that the case leads to the highest echelons of corporate America. If neither DuPont nor Teflon are among the sponsors for this year’s Academy Awards broadcast, don’t be surprised to find Mark Ruffalo’s name among the Best Actor nominees for his role in “Dark Waters. ” Ruffalo is the rare performer who puts his money where his mouth is--a dedicated social activist as well as a gifted actor. When the actor combines the two pursuits, people tend to take notice: 2015’s Academy Award-winning “Spotlight” is an example. In “Dark Waters, ” Ruffalo seems to be trying hard to blend into the ensemble--after adding a few pounds to portray the real-life Robert Bilott, the actor resembles Oliver Platt--but his talent, and his social conscience, shine through in every scene. “Dark Waters” is good, solid, smart motion picture entertainment. You have to work a little to keep up with the plot development--this is one picture for which your ninth grade chemistry will come in handy--and the picture’s conclusion isn’t completely reassuring. The ultimate message is as sobering and troubling as it is inspiring: ”THEY don’t protect us--WE protect us. ” But if you think about it, that’s what Jefferson, Hamilton, Adams, and the other founding fathers were telling us all along. Supporting Ruffalo, Anne Hathaway disguised in a succession of unflattering black wigs is wasted in a nothing role as Ruffalo’s brittle wife, but the reliable old pro Bill Pullman has fun in a showy little role as a seasoned and wiley small-town country lawyer who’s amused to find himself taking on big business for the first time in his career. December 6, 2019 Format: Prime Video "Dark Waters" (2019 release; 126 min. ) brings the story of Cincinnati lawyer Rob Bilott's long legal battle against DuPont. As the movie opens, it is "1975 Parkersburg, West Virginia" as we see several teenagers (one of them a young Bilott) go swimming in a lake that we later see being sprayed with chemicals. We then go to "1998 Cincinnati, Ohio", and Rob has just made partner at Taft, one of the large law firms in Cincinnati. Then a stranger shows up who is from Parkersburg and knows Rob's grandmother. The stranger, Wilbur Tennant, claims that chemicals have ruined his farm, he has the VHS tapes to prove it, and can Rob please represent him.... At this point we're 10 min. into the movie, but to tell you more of the plot would spoil your viewing experience, you'll just have to see for yourself how it all turns out. Couple of comments: this is the latest movie from Todd Haynes, whose prior movie, the excellent "Carol" was coincidentally also filmed here in Cincinnati (where I live). But that is where the comparisons stop. Here, Haynes brings to the big screen the long battle that Bilott fought against chemical giant DuPont. The film starts a bit tentative in my opinion, but after the first half hour, the tension doesn't let up as DuPont is fighting with all of its might against Bilott. This movie is a labor of love for Mark Ruffalo, who stars and also co-produces. I've seen a lot of the films that Ruffalo has made in his career, and I don't know that he's ever been better, playing the almost mousy yet determined lawyer. Anne Hathaway seems underused as the supportive spouse but as the movie goes deeper, her role expands. The movie was filmed in early 2019 in and around Cincinnati, and the downtown area is featured extensively, including Fountain Square, the Queen City Club, the Hall of Mirrors at the Netherland Plaza, etc. The movie had a red carpet premiere here in Cincinnati a week before it got a limited release. This weekend it got a wide release, and the Friday early evening screening where I saw it at my art-house theater here in Cincinnati was attended okay (about 20 people). This movie will create strong word of mouth, and if it manages to pick up some award nominations (as it is expected), this could have a decent run in the theaters. If you are interested in a tense legal drama where Mark Ruffalo shines, I'd readily suggest you check this out, be it in the theater, on VOD, or eventually on DVD/Blu-ray. December 10, 2019 Format: Prime Video This is a very important film about one lawyer's fight to protect the health of all Americans. It is a David and Goliath story about the power that is currently held by mega corporations, and how they stay above the law. Tim Robbins, Anne Hathaway, and Mark Ruffalo give stellar performances, and the screenplay keeps the viewer engrossed in the film until the end. We all need these films to help educate and inform us of what is really happening in the world right now. I highly recommend it, although the PG13 rating is a precaution for younger family members due to its mature theme. December 26, 2019 Format: Blu-ray I don't often give anything 5 stars. This movie fully earns every single one. The story is complex, but put forth in a way an average viewer can easily follow. It builds and builds in a gripping slow burn from beginning to end. It is firmly based upon, and is faithful to, a true story in which the deliberate actions of a few brought great harm to many. The story is both spellbinding and sickening, simultaneously. The writing, acting, directing, and cinematography are all superb. This is one of the best movies of 2019. December 27, 2019 Format: Blu-ray Dark Waters surpasses its genre designations to unfold a true story by showcasing a medley of great performances, punctuated by a visual palette that creates an appropriate tone and mood. Todd Haynes directs with a delicate sensibility and wondrously highlights the tension in the undercurrent of the film. A superb film all in all.

We feel is anger and I felt angry along with him as we just keep finding out more and more awful things
Haynes does a great job keeping this film moving throughout as I never lost interest
I like the film grain and some of the shots were pretty impressive but they always fit the scene
Overall a very important film for people to see and know about for themselves.

The VERDICT:
Overall, Dark Waters delivered the story I had been wanting to see in the form of a biographical drama. A thrilling case that took years to build is given great detail to help explain everything happening, while also moving to keep you engaged. The acting and multiple aspects really do the film justice and give everyone the chance to act to their top game. It's true it still is subjected to overdramatization at times, but it's kept in check to keep things spicy and appeal to the drama seeking nature that is humanity. I'd have liked a few more elements added to give a better visualization of the corrupt companies, while also giving Anne Hathaway more time to shine, but overall I'm very happy with this. I feel this film will go under the radar, and to be honest, only the engaging story and acting will attract a theater watch for most. However, if you are able to catch this at home or Redbox take the 2 hours to uncover the revolutionizing story that is still going on today.

As the movie opens, it is "1975 Parkersburg, West Virginia" as we see several teenagers (one of them a young Bilott) go swimming in a lake that we later see being sprayed with chemicals. We then go to "1998 Cincinnati, Ohio" and Rob has just made partner at Taft, one of the large law firms in Cincinnati. Then a stranger shows up who is from Parkersburg and knows Rob's grandmother. The stranger, Wilbur Tennant, claims that chemicals have ruined his farm, he has the VHS tapes to prove it, and can Rob please represent him. At this point we're 10 min. into the movie, but to tell you more of the plot would spoil your viewing experience, you'll just have to see for yourself how it all turns out.
Couple of comments: this is the latest movie from Todd Haynes, whose prior movie, the excellent "Carol" was coincidentally also filmed here in Cincinnati (where I live. But that is where the comparisons stop. Here, Haynes brings to the big screen the long legal battle that Bilott fought against chemical giant DuPont. The film starts a bit tentative in my opinion, but after the first half hour, the tension doesn't let up as DuPont is fighting with all of its might against Bilott. This movie is a labor of love for Mark Ruffalo, who stars and also co-produces. I've seen a lot of the films that Ruffalo has made in his career, and I don't know that he's ever been better, playing the almost mousy yet determined lawyer. Anne Hathaway seems underused as the supportive spouse but as the movie goes deeper, her role expands. The movie was filmed in early 2019 in and around Cincinnati, and the downtown area is featured extensively, including Fountain Square, the Queen City Club, the Hall of Mirrors at the Netherland Plaza, etc.
The movie had a red carpet premiere here in Cincinnati in mid-November, a week before it got a limited theater release. This weekend it got a wide release, and the Friday early evening screening where I saw it at my art-house theater here in Cincinnati was attended okay (about 20 people. This movie will surely create strong word of mouth, and if it manages to pick up some award nominations (as it is expected) this could have a decent run in the theaters. If you are interested in a tense legal drama where Mark Ruffalo shines, I'd readily suggest you check this out, be it in the theater, on VOD, or eventually on DVD/Blu-ray.

Which song is that in the trailer. MR SMITH IDONT FEEL SO GOOD. I knew this movie had lots of potential, and I was right. I saw this movie today in theatres and it surprised me more than I thought. The plot and story was okay, nothing to special, but it still exceeded my expectations. The moral or lesson of this movie is different from most animated kids films, because it jumps into something way deeper than other movies. This movie talks about violence and murder, and basically using it to solve a conflict may only lead to bigger and more serious conflicts. The Villain, for example, Killian, I won't spoil this movie, but he has a really dark backstory. Because of something Lance did, Killian just has this whole plot to take revenge on him. The animation was good, nothing to exciting about that. The movie has kind of a slow start, but when you get past like, 45 minutes, that's when you're completely hooked. The ending is rather questionable, and extremely short after the climax, but still delivers. The characters had a lot of depth, especially Walter and Killian. This is a very worthy watch, and I think you should go watch it in theatres now. (Or you know, just watch it.

I think it's safe to say that I'm the only dude looking forward to this movie. Pigeon: Impossible is an awesome little short film that I caught a while back it played at the Austin Film Festival – well, by caught I mean that I skimmed right by it as I blasted through screeners of short films on my way to judging the Student Short Films category. And unfortunately, this brilliant little short by first-time director Lucas Martell wasnt in my category, and it was unfortunately passed over. Then like all great pieces of work, it stuck around and reemerged this week over at Laughing Squid, a site I read daily. They posted a YouTube embed of the short, which follows a rookie secret agent who faced with a problem seldom covered in basic training: what to do when a curious pigeon gets trapped inside your multi-million dollar, government-issued nuclear briefcase.
